I totally love this sharpener!!!! It works really well on any kind of knifes. If you have a large knife, just attach it several times to cover the whole length.
What I love the most, it is very easy to maintain the same angle you are sharpening with all over and ater you are done with the extra corase, it takes nothing to get the others done and you have a very well shrapened knife
You shall get the support, it is a lot easier to use with it

I had always used a set of whetstones or tricky, cheap sharpeners for knives in the kitchen. To be truthful, I always thought they were pretty sharp, but never as sharp as demos that I saw on Youtube. I wanted that. Good and noticeable improvement on my first try! Two days later I sharpened them all again to see if I could do better with what I had already learned. The answer is: Yes! These are now way sharper than they've ever been, which is amazing, and I am confident that I can do even better the next time. Really pleased!.

Look-it is a very effective tool. But it takes time and practice to get good with it. I think itās worth both. I have very sharp knives now!
This is a very well made effective method of achieving the results you have wanted forever but were unable to achieve with other methods.
I highly recommend

I was reluctant to buy this because of some negative reviews and look for a GATCO because I borrowed my friend's and it was great. I have to say this is just as good and has one more stone than my friend's kit. My knife is really sharp now. There was nothing wrong with mine, but if you have to tap a hole, that's part of being a man. If you can't tap a hole, shave your beard

I purchased this and a few more stones to try this out. It does the job, very well. You just have to make sure you put the rods in correctly and that they are straight. I just leave the rods attached and store everything as is. Saves time when I need to use it. Takes a little practice to use, but once you get the hang of it, it makes a great edge. I imagine the stand or clamp would make it easier to hold on to, but once I figured it out, I easily sharpened an 8 inch butcher knife with ease. I mostly use this for folders under 4 inches, but this kit, the finer stones and a strop, you can easily get a mirror edge that is super sharp. Highly recommended for a guided budget sharpener

For the layman, this product works like a champ. Within an hour I had ever knife in the drawer sharp enough to shave hairs off my finger. Are they "the best" product for sharpening knives -or- is this "the right way" to do it, frankly, I don't know and don't care. They worked well for me and gave far better results than anything I have used before so I am more than satisfied. I would recommend the C Clamp to hold the knife attachment, it seems to be significantly easier to use with it. For large carving knives this did not work well, they are too long. But I was able to use the stones to sharpen the knives very easily by hand.

Good sharpening system that will sharpen most any normal knife from custom to kitchen . Like many purchasers ,I too find it a bit small for my hand to hold , the solution was at HARBOR FREIGHT in the form of a small swivel vice. With the ability to swivel at two points you can customize the position to fit your needs. GREAT ADDITION , and your knife clamp will stay put until you're ready to switch sides. Knife sharpener is well worth the money and works like advertised.

The first knife I tried sharpening is my main large kitchen knife that I have abused over the decades with various stones and sharpeners. After attempting to "profile" the edge to 25 degrees I proceeded up the stones stopping at 600 grit. I didn't bother with the 1000 grit stone since the knife was already so sharp that I'm afraid I'm going to slice myself just looking at it wrong. The knife is sharper than when it was new by far and I'm just a beginner at this. Highly recommended.

First real knife sharpener purchase Ive ever made. Have a few small pull through hand style sharpeners, but wanted something that really did the job, not just remove a bunch of material for half way sharp knives.
Not the easiest to sharpen, meaning it takes some time from start to finish, but the results are awesome. Took my totally blunt and abused pocket knives and made them shaving sharp.
Did multiple pocket knives, which is where this really thrives, and some kitchen knives. All came out very sharp. The only complication with kitchen knives is the length. Limited how far and at what angle the stones will reach out to.
Would recommend this to someone who wants nicely sharpened knives, but doesnt want to spend a few hundred dollars to get them. Has the versatility to do many different styles, and if youre willing to put in the time, youll have a nice sharp knife at the end.
